Q. What exactly is an online running coach?

 

A. Online coaching is also known as virtual coaching.  With your online running coach you will received a training schedule from you coach.  Then through email and phone you and your coach will discuss your training.  If needed your coach will alter your training schedule according to how you are progressing.

 

Q. Why should I choose Peak Performance Running for coaching instead of finding a training program on the internet?


A. Peak Performance Running offers a personalized training program.  The training programs that you can find on the internet are usually great programs, but they are designed for a small percentage of the running population.  The training program that you receive from your coach will be designed to meet your specific needs.

 

 

Q. If I am just beginning my running career can I benefit from using Peak Performance Running's online coaching?


A. Yes! Beginning runners can benefit from the knowledge that an experienced coach can give them.  Many times when people begin an exercise program they quit after a few short weeks.  Often the reason is that they do to much to quickly and become sore or injured.  Peak Performance Running will plan your training according to your current abilities to help you get the most out of your training.

 

 

Q. I am an experienced runner.  How can I benefit from Peak Performance Running's online coaching?

 

A. Self coached runners are notorious for either under or over training.  Most find it hard to objectively look at their own training.  Your coach will develop your training schedule to help you prevent those two training mistakes while minimizing your risk of injury.  Being accountable to a coach can also help provide you with motivation.

 

 

Q. How much will I improve?

 

A. Improvement will vary greatly from person to person.  There are numerous factors that will determine how much and how quickly you improve.  Beginners tend to see improvements quicker than experienced runners, but everyone can benefit from this service.

 

 

Q. How do I pay for the online coaching services?

 

A. Your training program can be paid via credit card or through PayPal.  

 

 

Q. Why should I sign up for the 12 or 26 week subscriptions?

 

A. Your program is designed to help you reach your goals.  In order for those goals to provide the necessary motivation to get out the door and train they are usually goals that will be 3-12 months down the road.  Signing up for a longer subscription will allow you to benefit from each training period that will be included in your schedule.
